THE STORY BEHIND B.W.G
I'm Quortney, the creator behind Babes Who Grub! I grew up in a little town called Frederick, MD and moved right before the pandemic. When the pandemic hit and society was forced to isolate from the rest of the world, I found comfort in social media by connecting with others and sharing my creativity with a larger audience. As small businesses and restaurants begin to slowly open their doors, I saw an opportunity to help these businesses get back on their feet by capturing my dining experiences and sharing it on my personal Tik Tok and Instagram account.
The warmth of positive responses fueled my drive, inspiring the birth of "Babes Who Grub," a dedicated space to unveil transparent reviews of DMV's culinary and activity scene. With rapid movement, my platforms evolved & so did my passion in photography and digital content creation—these became my heart's true calling.
As an avid content creator and foodie, my purpose for Babes Who Grub is to extend a helping hand to businesses, aiding them in reaching a diverse and captivated audience. During this journey, I'm proud to have a beautiful community of 20K foodies join us! I'm excited to see how far B.W.G expands and evolves into a brand that is resourceful for all!
